Fundraising

Hate crime affects us all and we need your on-going support to raise awareness and help us challenge and prevent hate crime in our communities.

Our primary focus is to support three acts of remembrance in April each year to mark the annivesaries of the London Nail Bomb attacks on Brixton, Brick Lane and Soho as well as organising a much larger Candle-lit Vigil against Hate Crime in October.

These events are important because they enable people to come together and remember those that have been lost and injured, whilst at the same time providing us all with an opportunity to work together, to build better relationships within our communities and support the work that is being done by many people to tackle hate crime.

We are run entirely by volunteers, so every penny that you donate to us goes back into organising the vigil and the acts of remembrance. We really need your help to make tackling hate crime more visible by supporting us by making a contribution.

There are many ways in which you can contribute your support the 17-24-30 No to Hate Crime Campaign.

Get involved

There are many ways in which you can support our work; add your voice to one of our campaigns or projects; tell us your views or organise an event to raise funds; volunteer some of your time to get involved with the campaign and help us with the logistics of each event; come along to the acts of remembrance and the vigils against hate crime.

Social networking

Become a Fan, Follow and Watch US. Support our current campaigns through your social networking profile. We are on Facebook and regularly Tweet on Twitter and have some videos on YouTube. You can follow us and retweet our messages to raise awareness of our work and let people know you support our campaign.

Donations Welcome

If you would like to make a donation Charities Trust donation page.

The Candle-lit vigil against hate crime costs around £8,000 to host and we are committed to keeping this a free and open event supported by your donations. If everyone who attended the vigil could donate a couple of pounds towards the costs of the event it would make a big difference to what we could organise.

And there are also ways that you can donate to the campaign without costing you a penny.

We want to find a way to work with you throughout the year as well as to help promote your on-going events and activities to our supporters. There are many ways you can help support 17-24-30 No to Hate Campaign which might range from displaying a collection tin to holding benefit nights; to purchasing our T-Shirts and having staff wear these on the evening of the Vigil and donating a percentage of the proceeds to 17-24-30 No to Hate Campaign.
