Bar Wotever support Hate Crime Awareness Week with “Bring Your Own Queer” event at RVT

Bring your own queer
Bring your own Queer is a very special night at Bar Wotever. It is the night you get to bring a pal, someone who’s never come before, someone who maybe thinks bar wotever isn’t for them, someone who has been meaning to come but hasn’t got round to it yet.
Bask in the glow of their wonder as they experience the joy that is London’s only actual weekly queer community disco. Revel in the knowledge, that it was YOU who introduced them to us. Hosts will be on hand to dispense name tags, and make introductions,… this will be the most convivial wotever we have ever seen. Everyone will leave the RVT having met everyone else. Our resident photographers will capture pictures of you and your guest, and later on facebook everyone can tell us how they found their first Wotever, as they tag themselves into our community. Who are you going to bring? Get inviting now with the subject heading ‘Please be my queer at BYOQ!’
This event is also part of ‘Hate Crime Awareness Week’ With talk by Mark Healey, 17-24-30 No to Hate Crime Campaign, who organises the big anti hate vigils etc.
Raising funds for the five anti-hate crime organisations/charities that they are supporting this year – 17-24-30, Disability Hate Crime Network, Galop, Inclusion for All and Stop Hate UK
Performance by Yui Karlberg Music in the theme of ‘friendship and community’ by Westlake Sarah and the bouncy and lovely DJ Jo Bunny
Bar Wotever Queer Art & Culture Tuesdays at RVT Doors, 6-12, on stage 8.30
