Fundraising for 17-24-30 projects

17-24-30 Fundraising

Hate crime affects us all and we need your on-going support to raise awareness and help us challenge and prevent hate crime in our communities.

We are run entirely by volunteers, so every penny you donate goes towards the fight against hate crime.

Our primary focus is to finance and support the April Acts of Remembrance #AAR and the National Hate Crime Awareness Week #NHCAW in October. Any funds remaining are used to fund our other H.O.P.E. hate crime projects listed here.

Below are some ideas showing how you can support us.

Get involved

There are many ways in which you can support our work; add your voice to one of our campaigns or projects; tell us your views or organise an event to raise funds; volunteer some of your time to get involved with the campaign and help us with the logistics of each event; come along to the acts of remembrance and the vigils against hate crime.

Social networking

Become a Fan, Lire, Follow, Share and Watch us. Support our current campaigns through your social networking profiles. We are on Facebook and regularly Tweet on Twitter and have some videos on YouTube. You can follow us and re-tweet our messages to raise awareness of our work and let people know you support our campaign.

  • Our current contacts and social media is listed here.

Donations Welcome

We usually have a donations bucket at each of our events

Throughout the year we organise three on-line fundraising appeals via the Sponsor Me Charities Trust website.

  • You can find our latest fundraising appeal here.

And there are other ways that you can donate to the campaign without costing you a penny.

Community Support (Bars and Clubs Partnership)

We are grateful to the Two Brewers in Clapham who host our annual fundraiser at the end of National Hate Crime Awareness Week #NHCAW each year.

  • Find out more about our annual fundraiser here.

We also thank the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and the Eagle London for hosting bucket collections for us each year.

We are looking for other bars and clubs to hold fundraising events for us.

This could be as simple as having one of our collection tins on your bar, holding a benefit night, purchasing our T-shirts and badges for you staff to wear during National Hate Crime Awareness Week #NHCAW, or donating a percentage of your door take/proceeds to our cause.

  • Contact the 17-24-30 team via our contacts here.

The National Hate Crime Awareness Week and our hate crime awareness projects simply wouldn’t happen without the generosity and support of our sponsors and partners. We hope that you will buy their products, visit their websites and generally show them love in return.
