National Hate Crime Events Google Map

In July 2015, as part of it’s campaign to raise awareness of hate crime the 17-24-30 No to Hate Crime Campaign set up the first National Hate Crime Events Google map 2015/16 to promote Hate Crime Awareness events that Councils, Police Services, partners and communities affected by Hate Crime are organising around the UK.

The aim of National Hate Crime Awareness Week #NHCAW is to encourage everyone to do something during the week to promote hate crime awareness.

The week takes place in October, starting on the second Saturday of the month with a service at St Paul’s Cathedral and ending on the third Saturday of the month with a series of Hope and Remembrance vigils that will take place around the UK and abroad to mark International Day of Hope and Remembrance #IDOHAR for those affected by hate crime.

Those organising hate crime awareness events are invited to send details to info@17-24-30.org so that they can be listed on the map.
